We are about to identify specifically who the Antichrist is. Examining the facts revealed along with the other information listed will give us 100% confidence in our conclusions. We are about to discover the kingdom that matches every point of this prophecy, including his name and 666! This kingdom receives worship. "All the world wondered after the beast ... they worshipped the beast” Revelation 13:3,4. The man leading this kingdom is worshipped and universally recognized and honored with wonder, respect, and admiration. So let us prepare ourselves to discover the Antichrist’s identity is actually one of the worlds most popular and well-loved men; leading a highly esteemed system of government that also receives worldwide worship! A man who millions flock to see when he makes public appearances in cities around the world. A man whose presence moves people to tears from a deep religious experience felt by his audiences. A man who has actually been named "Man of the year" by Time magazine. "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! For so did the fathers to the false prophets" Luke 6:26.

"And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion” Revelation 13:2. Remember Daniel 7:3 had four beasts rise up out of the sea. A lion, a bear, a leopard and a dreadful beast with ten horns. This prophecy will reveal exactly who the antichrist is; and he will match every point in both Revelation 13 & Daniel 7. "The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon the earth" Daniel 7:25. Daniel was given the prophecy of this chapter during the Babylonian occupation; the fourth kingdom upon the earth from the time Daniel wrote this was the Roman Empire.

Ten horns = Ten kings at the fall of Rome

Little Horn = Kingdom of the Antichrist

Now the Antichrist is responsible for destroying three of the ten kings that brought the Roman Empire to its knees.” And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saint’s of the most high” Daniel 7:24,25. The kingdom that the Antichrist would rule came to power at the fall of the Roman Empire. "And the dragon gave him his power, his seat and great authority” Revelation 13:2. This dragon beast has seven heads, which are seven mountains (Revelation 17:9).

"Among the very few Great Cities which then were, and still survive, one was seated on seven hills. She was universally recognized in St. John’s age as the Seven‑hilled City. The same City and no other, then reigned over the kings of the Earth... The seven hilled City, that Great City, the Queen of the Earth, Babylon the Great of the Apocalypse, is the City of Rome" Christopher Wordsworth, Union with Rome (1909) pp.13, 14. The Dragon is Satan (Revelation 12:9), This prophecy reveals where his system of government is located. The Dragon and the Beast both have seven heads, which are seven mountains. They are both located in the city of seven hills. The seven-hilled city is Rome. "It is within the city of Rome, called The City on Seven Hills, that the entire area of Vatican State proper is now confined” The Catholic Encyclopedia, p. 529. The Bible says that the Dragon was responsible for the death attempt on baby Jesus. Satan used the Roman Empire to make this death attempt through King Herod by killing all the babies in Bethlehem. Ten kings conquered the Roman Empire. Thus we have the Dragon with seven heads (the seven hilled city of Rome) and ten horns (ten kings at the fall of Rome) that was responsible for trying to kill baby Jesus. At the fall of the Roman Empire the final Caesar, Justinian gave his armies and the city of Rome to the Bishop of Rome "And the dragon gave him his power his seat and great authority" (Revelation 13:2). Thus Satan handed the city of Rome and all its authority to the bishop of Rome at the fall of the Roman Empire.

The Pope used the Roman armies to destroy the Ostrogoths, the Heruli, and the Vandals: three of the ten kings; "And he shall subdue three kings” Daniel 7:24. The other seven kingdoms became the nations of Europe, England, France, Germany, and Italy Spain, etc. The Roman Catholic Church is the kingdom that came to power among the populated area of the nations of Europe in Rome, the city of seven hills among the ten kings at the fall of the Roman Empire. Which has priests that claim to have power to forgive sins, with a man at its head who receives the worship, which belongs only to Jesus Christ.

Friends we love you and are not trying to offend anyone in this system of worship. God has many children in this organization that really love Jesus, and serve Him with the whole heart; such as Mother Teresa did. God is calling you to, "Come out of her my people, that ye be not partaker of her sins" Revelation 18:4.

"News Week Magazine” November 1, 1999 published within its pages that the Protestant Reformation began with a conviction that the Roman Catholic Pope was the Antichrist spoken of in the Bible. In fact a Protestant is one who protests the teachings of the Church of Rome.

John Wesley (founder of the Methodist Church) said of the Papacy, "He is in an emphatic sense, the Man of Sin, as he increases all manner of sin above measure."

John Knox said the Pope was "the very Antichrist."

Charles Spurgeon, the Baptist (said to have been the greatest preacher of the 19th Century) said, "We must warn with judicious boldness those who incline towards the errors of Rome; we must tell them the black doings of Popery."

John Calvin (founder of the Calvinist Church) said, "We call the Roman pontiff Antichrist."

Martin Luther (founder of the Lutheran Church) said, I know hat the Pope is the Antichrist, and that his See is that of Satan himself. The Papacy is the general chase, by command of the roman pontiff, for the purpose of running down and destroying soul."

The kingdom the Antichrist was to rule was to have complete dominion over the kings of the earth for a "time (1 year) times (2 years) and the dividing of a time (a year)" Daniel 7:25. This 3-year period is a total of 1260 days. According the Jewish calendar that was being used at the time this prophecy was given each month was 30 days. Revelation 13:5 calls this period of time "forty two months." 42 X 30 = 1260 days.

Every principal applied in interpreting prophecy must be "Written in the Law of Moses and in the prophets” Luke 24:44. "To the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” Isaiah 8:20 According to the books of Moses and the testimony of the prophets in Bible prophecy A DAY EQUALS A YEAR! The 40 days the spies were in Canaan were made into 40 years of wandering in the wilderness (Numbers 13:34). The 390-day prophecy in Ezekiel was actually to be 390 YEARS (Ezekiel 4:6)!

The Lord Jesus Christ also used the day for a year principal. "Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures Today and tomorrow and the third day I shall be perfected” Luke 13:32. Jesus was using three symbolic days declaring that His ministry was to last for three more YEARS. The 1260 days that the Antichrist power was to rule over the kings of the earth was 1260 YEARS. The popes of the Catholic Church came to its supreme authority over all the kings of the earth in 538 AD

Exactly 1260 years later in the year 1798 Napoleon sent his general into the Vatican and took the pope captive. The Beast of Revelation 13 was to receive her deadly wound, but it was also to be healed. In 1929 Mussolini restored the Vatican to power by making it an independent nation. Granting to the pope108.7 acres now called Vatican City in Rome. "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death (1798), and his deadly wound was healed (1929): and all the world wondered after the beast (today)." Revelation 13:3.

When a man commits a sin the Church of Rome teaches that the sinner must confess his sins to a priest. The priest will then determine what penance is required to make his peace with God. For the sin of stealing the priest may require the man to say 40 "Hail women, blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus, pray for us sinners." Then the sinner prays the Lords prayer "Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name..."

Each time these prayers are completed he moves His fingers to the next bead on the rosary until the 40 "Hail Mary’s" are said in conjunction to saying the Lord’s Prayer. In context to saying the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus said just two verses before, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be ye not like unto them for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him. After this manner therefore pray ye, Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name...” Matthew 6:7‑9.

The repetition of saying the Lord’s Prayer and "Hail Mary’s" is VAIN according to the Lord Jesus Christ. He taught that this was the practice of the "heathen." "Beads were commonly buried with the pharaoh’s of Egypt and used by the pagan cults of the east. Moslems use them today. Buddhism uses prayer beads throughout the East. The Catholic rosary originated in paganism; it was used by the ancient Mexicans, the Brahmins of Hindustan, the Tibetan priests of Tartary, and in the cults of Greece and Rome." Confession of sins to a man or priest will never save anyone! "Who can forgive sins, but God alone?" Luke 5:21. Man has to give account of himself directly to God by confessing his sins directly to the Lord. The Apostle Paul taught this to the Church in Rome. "For it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” Romans14: 11,12. Notice the example of the prophet, "I was speaking and praying and confessing my sins... before the Lord my God" Daniel 9:20.

Friend’s we are not simply trying to find fault with some one’s articles of faith. This is far more important. "For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5. The only priest we must confess our sins to is the High Priest Jesus Christ by faith. He is the only One who can stand as a Mediator between the sinner and the investigative judgment of God.

Satan is determined to deceive the Christians. He is turning their eyes away from Jesus by depending upon sinful man for the forgiveness of sins. This keeps man from going directly to His Father in Heaven through the name of His Son. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12. The act of the Papacy in claiming all power in heaven and earth to forgive sins is blasphemy (Luke 5:21). The Church of Rome taught that the souls of men where given to the popes and priests for them to decide whether they went to heaven or hell. With such a claim she has held men in bondage to fear for nearly 1500 years

John Paul II was on the cover of News Week Magazine in 1995, with the headlines in bold print “HONOR THY FATHER." The most common title of the Pope is "Holy Father." Jesus Christ gave the following Commandment in Matthew 23:9 "And call no man your Father upon the earth for one is your Father, which is in heaven". Jesus taught our Father was in Heaven not in the Vatican. Jesus taught that since the Pope is here on this earth we are not to call him the "The Holy Father." The third Commandment says, "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain." Exodus 20:7. The Pope has blasphemed against the name of God the Father and the Son!

The Little Horn in Daniel 7 and the Beast of Revelation 13, are both the Papacy. Both prophecies reveal that the Pope would "speak great words against the most High” Daniel 7:25, "And would open his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His Name, and His tabernacle” Revelation 13:6. The apostle Paul wrote that this "man of sin" is he "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” Thessalonians 2:4.

"The letters inscribed on the popes miter are these: VICARIUS FILII DEI, which is the Latin for 'vicar of the Son of God.' "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Satan was to wage war against the commandment keeping Christians through the beast kingdom in the very next verse Revelation 12:17; 13:1. Daniel 7:25, says that the Pope would, "THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS." He was to make war with the Commandment keeping and kill all who would remain loyal to God's Law, and defy the power of the papacy.

"That the Church of Rome has shed more blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history. It is impossible t for a complete conception of the multitude of her victims, and it is quite certain that no powers of imagination can adequately realize their sufferings. . . They were burnt alive not infrequently by a slow fire. . . This was the physical torment inflicted on those who dared to exercise their reason in the pursuit of truth; but what language can describe, and what imagination can conceive, the mental suffering that accompanied it? . . . When we consider all these things, it can surely be no exaggeration to say that the Church of Rome has inflicted a greater amount of unmerited suffering than any other religion that has ever existed." W. E. H. Lecky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe Vol. 2 pp. 40‑45. "The persecuting spirit of Rome” is that of Satan himself. "We should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother” John 3:11,12.

The Spirit of Christ taught, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her... neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more” John 8:10,11 "The time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service” John 16:2. "Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you, that ye may be children of your Father which is in heaven" Matthew 5:39,44,45.

He shall, "think to change time and laws” Daniel 7:25. "Laws" is Plural. The Roman Catholic Church was to tamper with two of God’s Ten Commandments. The second Commandment forbidding the worship of idols was completely removed from the Ten Commandments according to the Catholic Church, despite the warning that the apostle John gave, "Keep you from idols." John 5:21. The Catholic Church also tampered

With the Fourth Commandment, the only Commandment dealing with "TIMES."

We shall now notice the claims of the Papacy.

"Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?

"Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the council of Laodicea (AD 336 transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday." Rev. Peter Geierman, C.S.S.R. The Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, page 50, 2nd edition, 1910.

"The Catholic Church for over one thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday." The Catholic Mirror September 23, 1893

"Reason and sense demand the acceptance of one or the other of these alternatives; either Protestantism and the keeping holy of Saturday or Catholicity, and the keeping holy of Sunday. Compromise is impossible." Cardinal Gibbons, in The Catholic Mirror, December 23, 1893.

Matthew 24:4 through the end of chapter 25 are the words of Jesus without one interruption. Matthew 26:1,2 clearly reveals to us that Jesus spoke these Chapters just two days before He died on the Cross. "And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, he said unto His disciples, Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of man, is betrayed to be crucified” Matthew 26:1,2. So just 48 hours before He died He said, "But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day” Matthew 24:20. Please understand this my friend. The very next Sabbath after Jesus spoke that was the day after he died. A Testament is a Last Will and Testament. The Will goes into effect at the moment of Death. Once Christ died no one could add to or change the New Testament (Hebrews 9:16,17; Galatians 3:15). Every Word Christ spoke was the "Will” of the Father. The Bible records NO change of the seventh day Sabbath to the first day of the week. History records that it was the Church of Rome not the Bible that instituted Sunday observance.

"For where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the Testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise is of no strength at all while the Testator liveth” Hebrews 9:16,17.

"Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; though it be but a man’s Testament yet if it be confirmed (by the Testator’s death), no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto" Galatians 3:15.

The words of Jesus Christ are the New Testament. Jesus Christ said just 48 hours before He died that at the destruction of Jerusalem (39 years after the Cross) that we still needed to observe the seventh day Sabbath prayerfully. Any change in Christ's "Last Will and Testament” needed to be made before the Cross (His death) for it to be in the New Testament. Jesus forever sealed the Seventh day Sabbath of the fourth commandment into the New Testament when He spoke Matthew 24:20 and then died just 48 hours later! After He died not an apostle an angel, and not even a Pope could change, disannul or add to the New Testament gospel of Jesus Christ. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8,9.

"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical AUTHORITY in religious things." H. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons.

Sunday observance has its origin, in the Roman Catholic Church, not in the Bible! It is claimed to be her "Mark of Authority." "Christians will naturally strive to ensure that civil legislation respects their duty to keep Sunday Holy” John Paul Dies Domini point 67, July 8, 1998. On the same day the Denver Post quoted ROME as saying, "A VIOLATOR SHOULD BE PUNISHED AS A HERETIC." "Upon the Bible...the heretics rested their faith" Great Controversy (1888) p. 221.

Today Protestants and Catholics have united in an ecumenical movement. Religious leaders of all faiths are now joining with the Pope urging the United States to enforce a National Sunday Law. The MARK OF THE BEAST is the Papacy’s Mark of Authority. The Mark of the Beast forces the worship of men through civil laws to observe Sunday as a holy day. The penalty of defying the National Sunday law after it is enforced is "that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark." They will then "cause as many as would not worship the image of the Beast should be killed" Revelation 13:15,17.

Jesus Christ say’s "Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16. The love of God gives every man the freedom to believe and obey Him or the freedom to disobey Him. He never forces man into obedience. "If you love Me keep My commandments” John 14:15. Jesus asks us to love him before he asks for us to keep His commandments. The Seventh Day Sabbath will be God’s seal, and sign of the CREATOR’S AUTHORITY. Adam never saw God create anything. Adam was the final creation. When God instituted the Sabbath, man kept it holy, as a sign of faith that he believed God was his Creator (Gen. 2:1‑3). "Come unto me ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28. Sabbath means literally "rest".

The undeniable fact is that Sunday observance did not have its origin in the Bible; rather it came from the Church of Rome. The truth is Saturday is the Sabbath. Those who love tradition and not the truth shall receive a strong delusion of a lie and shall receive the Mark of the Beast. Many will say, "It does not matter which day I observe so long as I keep at least one in seven" Adam and Eve surely thought it did not matter which tree they ate from and death followed, because they disregarded the detail to God’s Commandment. The detail in God’s Commandment say's "Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God." Exodus 20:8‑11. There are ten times that the letter "t” is crossed in that statement. Jesus said, "It is easier for heaven and earth to pass than one tittle (crossing of a "t") of the law to fail” Luke 16:17. Today the whole world is forgetting the commandment, which begins with the word "Remember." Jesus said, "If you love me keep my Commandments” John 14:15. “He that saith I know him, and keepeth not His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him" "For this is the love of God that we keep His Commandments: and His Commandments are not grievous" John 2:4; 5:3.

Jesus died on the day "before the Sabbath” Mark 15:42. He was resurrected "when the Sabbath was past, very early in the morning the first day of the week." Mark 16:1,2. This day is now called "EASTER SUNDAY." Saturday is the day before, "Easter Sunday." Saturday is the Seventh Day Sabbath.

*Saturday in nearly 200 languages means Sabbath. Shabbot in Israeli; Sabbato in Spanish; etc.

*"Sabbath, the period of time from Friday evening to Saturday evening, kept as a day of rest and worship by the Jews and some Christians." Webster’s Dictionary.

*Jesus kept the Seventh Day Saturday Sabbath holy 1,700 times, and kept Sunday holy not even once! Luke 3:23; 4:16, John 2:3‑6

*The book of Acts notes Saturday being used for worship by early Jewish and Gentile Christians 84 times, and kept Sunday not even one time! Acts 13:42,44; 16:13; 17:2: 18:4,11

*The 7th Day Sabbath will be kept in the New Earth and New Heaven for all Eternity. Isaiah 66:22,23

*The 7th Day Sabbath, Saturday is the only day claimed, blessed and called holy by God or Jesus. Genesis 2:2,3, Exodus 20:8‑11

*Jesus affirmed the Law as binding and expected His followers to regard the Saturday Sabbath prayerfully 39 years after His death. Matthew 5:17‑19, Matthew 24:20

Sunday was the pagan day of Sun worship for thousands of years. Through out the Bible the worshippers of the Creator were always bitterly opposed by the worshippers of the Sun gods called Baal. The Controversy has always been over the worship of either the Creator or the idols designed to honor these Sun gods. Satan has used the Man of Sin to set up an Image to the Beast designed to honor these ancient sun gods, in the observance of their day of worship Sunday (day of the sun). The worshippers of the Greek sun god, Mithra (lord) were calling Sunday "the lord’s day” long before Christ was born. Jesus Christ said that "the Lord’s Day" (Revelation 1:10) was the Seventh Day Sabbath. Mark 2:28, Isaiah 58:13,14. There is no reference in the Bible calling the First day this.

"THE CARTER REPORT” is offering $100,000.00 cash for one scripture proving that Sunday is the Lord's Day! Jan Marcussen is offering $1,000,000.00 for one scripture proving Sunday is the Lord’s Day.

The New Testament Christian experience is Jesus Christ saving his people from their sins which is transgression of the Ten Commandments (I John 3:4) The antichrist and the apostate Protestant churches are teaching men to break the fourth commandment. They are now urging the United States to pass a national Sunday law. All who willfully disobey God’s Ten Commandments after this national Sunday law is enforced are paying homage to the authority of the Roman Catholic institution instead of the Word of God. Willfully choosing to live in violation to the government of Heaven. Jesus will then say,

“Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and do not the things which I command, depart from me ye who work iniquity, I never knew you." (Luke 6:46; Matthew 7:23).

"The OBSERVANCE of SUNDAY by the Protestants is an homage they pay in spite of themselves to the AUTHORITY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH." Plain talk for Protestants, page 213.

The Christians will be obeying God’s commandments by His grace and by His grace alone through faith in the Son Jesus Christ living His Righteous life in them. Not by their strength or might rather by the power of the Holy Spirit, as they cling to the blood of Jesus for victory over their sinful desires. Once conviction of sin enters into the heart, the Christian confesses his weak and sinful condition to the Lamb of God and beholds Christ’s blood take away his sins and give him the victory over the flesh. Surrendered to the power of the Holy Spirit repentance is granted, and forgiveness is obtained. Salvation is now his living experience.

Jesus cannot give victory to a sin that man refuses to confess and forsake. Once men refuse to confess their sins and repent there is nothing more God can do. Friend’s the seventh day is the

Sabbath. Violating this day is as much a sin as to kill or to lie. Confess your sins and repent, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "At the time of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent” Acts 17:30. "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not to him it is sin" James 4:17.

Elijah gave the message, "that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord” Kings 18:18. He then called for a decision. Listen to today’s Elijah’s message, "Why stand ye between two opinions, if the Pope is Lord then serve him, but IF JESUS CHRIST IS LORD THEN SERVE HIM!" "We ought to obey God rather than men” Acts 5:29. "As His (Jesus Christ) custom was he went into the synagogue (church) on the Sabbath day (Saturday), and stood up to read” Luke 4:16. "And Paul, as his manner was, went into them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures” Acts 17:3. The apostle Paul followed the custom of Jesus by worshipping God on the Sabbath day and reading the Holy Bible. "And he (Paul) reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath” Acts 18:4. "For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you" John 13:15. The Christians at the Second Coming "follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth... Here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” Revelation 14:4,12. Following Jesus example of keeping the Ten Commandments are something the Christian can do only by grace through faith trusting in the promises of God's Word.

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead (in his convictions), or in his hand (in his actions), The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without measure into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: HERE ARE THEY THAT KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND THE FAITH OF JESUS." Revelation 14:9-12.
