At the glorious advent of Jesus Christ those sleeping souls in the
graves will be redeemed. Breath will return and the old mortal
flesh will be changed into immortal. The full dimensions of this is
beyond our understanding. Angels can transform there appearance; can
walk through solid walls. The atoms that comprise these dense forms
we see and feel as solid are as they truly are to the angels. The
angels whose presence is pre-eminent to any in adamant objects that
restrain us today have no restraining power on angels. This is all
NATURAL to the WAY the Creator made them. The distance between the
opening in Orion where the third Heaven is and the earth is over a
BILLION LIGHT YEARS in distance. 186,000 miles per second for a
billion years! Daniel began to pray and asked God to hear his prayer
(Daniel 9) . The angel Gabriel left Heaven at the beginning of his
prayer and came to earth in answer to this prayer. It took just
minutes for Gabriel to go what science calls over a billion light
years. Angels are the reflecting lights of Heaven not restrained by
the force of light but are shrouded with the glory of God whose
power is not limited by space or time.
The New Jerusalem has a real Father inhabiting a real throne. “The
LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his
eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.” Psalms 11:4.
There are real waters proceeding from it that we will really be able
to drink from with real mouths. With a real Tree of Life which we
will really be able to eat with real taste buds able to enjoy the
pleasures of Heaven with. “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the
throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of
waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” “And he
showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal,
proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of
the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the
tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her
fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing
of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of
God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve
him.” Revelation 7:17; 22:1-4.
We will be able to build real houses with real hands and inhabit
them. We plant real gardens and eat the fruit of them. “And they
shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant
vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.” Isaiah 65:21.
We will touch real animals just as Adam did in the garden of Eden.
“The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall
eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the
LORD.” “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard
shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the
fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow
and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together:
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child
shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put
his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the
knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:6-9.
Jesus is a real person who we will really be able to hug. “Now there
was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.”
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands
have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested,
and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that
eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto
us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye
also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is
with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things
write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” 1 John 1:4. This same
approachable lovable Jesus is returning. “Ye men of Galilee, why
stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen
him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11.
The Greek view of the spirit world was not a real place, it was
merely a spirit realm. Jesus after the resurrection was touchable,
He ate, and drank. “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I
myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones,
as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his
hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and
wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave
him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it,
and did eat before them.” Luke 24:39-43.
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall
be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2.
This mortal flesh and mortal blood can not inhabit the Kingdom of
God for eternity because this mortal flesh is subject to death. We
must have our corruptible mortal bodies changed into immortal angel
like bodies. “And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we
shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say,
brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a
mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal [must] put on immortality. So when this corruptible
shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is
written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy
sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin;
and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which
giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1
Corinthians 15:49-57.
Jesus has real flesh and real blood. he still bears the real wounds
in his flesh that we inflicted on Him on the cross. “Behold, I
have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are
continually before me.” Isaiah 49:16. Because He is REAL and believe
Jesus is alive and is real the promise is “we shall be like Him!”
Not mere spirit beings. there is no life apart from the body. We
need to be delivered from this body of death and be given a body of
life. “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands,
eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to
be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven.” 2 Corinthians
5:1,2
In these new bodies we receive at the second coming we will spend
all eternity never again to know sickness pain or any suffering.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I
John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a
great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is]
with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his
people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat
upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said
unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said
unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the
water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:1-7
“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no
hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say
unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians
4:13-18.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that
believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And
whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou
this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the
Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. And when
he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with
graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus
saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. Then many of the Jews
which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did,
believed on him.” John 11:25-27, 43-45
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they
that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that
have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28,29.
I pray the Comforter be with you and grant you the peace of Jesus
Christ. I have been praying for you with out ceasing take these
words to heart and “comfort one another with these words.” 1
Thessalonians 4:18
