These are the only
two passages in the Bible giving reference to SIX WINGED creatures.
The two descriptions of SIX WINGED creatures match perfectly. They
even sing the same song! The four beasts of Revelation 4-6 are
definitely FOUR ANGELS called Seraphim.
And the four
beasts had each of them six wings about him; and
they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and
night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was,
and is, and is to come. (Revelation 4:8)
Above it stood
the seraphims: each one had six wings with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did
fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,
is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his
glory. (Isaiah 6:2-3)
Fact # 2
The FOUR HORSEMEN are the FOUR
WINDS
There are only two
passages in the Bible giving direct reference to the FOUR HORSEMEN;
Revelation 6 & Zechariah 6. These two descriptions of the FOUR
HORSEMEN definitely are a match. Zechariah wanted to know what these
FOUR HORSEMEN represented. As we read Revelation 6 we find our
selves asking the same question, “What are these?” The angel only
gave one answer, “These are the FOUR WINDS” (Margin). The King James
actually says Four Spirits, and that word for “spirits” translates
as both spirits and winds.
Zechariah 6:2-5
(margin)
(2) In the
first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot
black horses;
(3) And in the
third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled and
bay horses.
(4) Then I
answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are
these, my lord?
(5) And the
angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds
of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all
the earth.
Fact # 3
The Four Beasts (FOUR ANGELS)
are connected to LOOSING the Four Horsemen (FOUR WINDS)
At the
commencement of each seal being LOOSED one by one the FOUR ANGELS
which are here called the “four beasts” make the announcement, “Come
and See.”
Revelation 6:1-8
(1) And I saw
when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the
noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
(2) And I saw,
and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a
crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to
conquer.
(3) And when he
had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come
and see.
(4) And there
went out another horse that was red: and power
was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and
that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a
great sword.
(5) And when he
had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and
see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him
had a pair of balances in his hand.
(6) And I heard
a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for
a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see
thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
(7) And when he
had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast
say, Come and see.
(8) And I
looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was
Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Fact # 4
The Four Horsemen of the Seven
Seals are “LOOSED.”
Revelation 5:2,5
(2) And I saw a
strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open
the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
(5) And one of
the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of
Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to
loose the seven seals thereof.
Fact # 5
The Four Angels Loose the Four
Winds during the Sixth Trumpet
Revelation 9:14
(14)
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four
angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Revelation 5:2,5
quoted during “Fact # 4” are the only other verses in
Revelation using this term “loose.” Notice how the 7 Last Plaques
are POURED OUT, the Trumpets SOUND. The Seals alone bear the unique
stamp of being “LOOSED” exactly like as the FOUR WINDS are described
as being “LOOSED” in Revelation 7:1-3.
Revelation 7:2
mentions the Four ANGELS; only one other passage of scripture
directly refers to FOUR ANGELS, which is Revelation 9:14, 15. Both
sets of FOUR ANGELS are connecting to this action of LOOSING. No
other passage of scripture in Revelation matches these
descriptions. The two sets of FOUR ANGELS are clearly referring to
one another. The Sixth trumpet is the time which the SEALS or WINDS
are LOOSED.
Fact # 6
Another description of the FOUR
ANGELS
And the first
beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a
calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the
fourth beast was like a flying eagle. (Revelation
4:7)
As for the
likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and
the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the
face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the
face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:10)
These Four Angels
are described in both Ezekiel 1 and 10. I will assert that these 10
chapters are describing the time of the FOUR WINDS. During this
time if God’s people are silent the blood of those who are lost will
be on their hands (Ezekiel 3:18-22). It is during this time that
God’s Faithful servants that refuse to be silent and give THE LOUD
CRY will receive the SEAL OF GOD in their foreheads ( Ezekiel 9).
“The day of
God's vengeance is just upon us. The seal of God will be placed upon
the foreheads of those only who sigh and cry for the abominations
done in the land.” 5T p. 512.
Fact # 7
During this time 1/3 of
Mankind will die from Sword, Famine and Pestilence caused by this
Army of Horsemen or WINDS.
Ezekiel 5:11-12
(11) Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast
defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all
thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee;
neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
(12) A third
part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine
shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part
shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter
a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword
after them.
The Four
Horsemen or FOUR WINDS consist of Sword Famine and Pestilence. A
third of mankind die during the sixth trumpet when the Four Angels
are Loosed, and the Horses are seen in vision.
Revelation
9:17-18
(17) And thus
I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them,
having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and
the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and
out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
(18) By
these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and
by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their
mouths.
Fact # 8
¼ of mankind dies during
fourth Horsemen alone!
Revelation 6: 8
(8) And I
looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was
Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
With 25 % of the
earth’s population killed during the time of the fourth horsemen we
need look for only another 8 % to complete the 33% predicted during
this segment of time called the FOUR WINDS. What else happens
during this time. The second horseman predicts coming world war; do
people die during war? Of course they do. The third horseman
foretells of coming worldwide famine; do people die during famine?
Of course they do!
During Vietnam
58,000 Americans died. During the coming war, if 4% of the earths
population were to die, it would equal ¼ of a billion people. This
would certainly a time of trouble that this world has never seen or
experienced before.
This figure leaves
4% of the earth’s population to die by famine. Another ¼ of a
Billion people! What causes this famine? Several things, first is
the sounding of the fourth trumpet darkens the sun moon and stars
1/3 of the day. The normal harvest would fail do to lack of
sunlight. Second, the chaos and confusion from the little time of
trouble and the time of the FOUR WINDS will render the present
system of life paralyzed. The trucks will not be able to make their
deliveries to the larger cities. The electricity that makes running
water possible from the tap will not work. There will be no food in
the stores, and no running water in the cities.
The results will
be identical to that of the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.
Mother’s ate their children; the young would steal food from the
elderly etc. Over ¼ of a billion people now living in the large
cities will die from the coming famine. God warned us in advance so
that we could be wise and prepare by leaving the larger cities
buying homes in the county and would learn to grow our own food.
O that
God's people had a sense of the impending destruction of thousands
of cities, now almost given to idolatry.--Ev 29 (1903).
The time is
near when large cities will be swept away, and all should be warned
of these coming judgments.--Ev 29 (1910).
Through Famine,
War and Pestilence 1/3 of mankind will die as predicted in the
Bible. We should heed the warning and flee the larger cities now!
Remember Lot. Do not wait until the last moment. Lot’s folly cost
him the loss of his family, even the daughters that did live were
spiritually lost because of the negative influence of city life.
Fact # 9
The Sequence of Events found in
Revelation 6 is Identical to what we find in Matthew Chapter 24
-

-
Second Seal
- War
-
Third Seal -
Famine
-
Fourth Seal
- Pestilence
-
Fifth Seal -

This is the same
sequence of events found in Matthew 24
-

-
Second Seal
– War – v. 6,7
-
Third Seal –
Famine – v. 7
-

-
Sixth Seal -

“Christ
presented before them an outline of the prominent events to take
place before the close of time. His words were not then fully
understood; but their meaning was to be unfolded as his people
should need the instruction therein given. The prophecy which he
uttered was twofold in its meaning: while foreshadowing the
destruction of
Jerusalem, it
prefigured also the terrors of the last great day.”
- The Great Controversy p. 25, 26
Please notice
the author of The Great Controversy states that Matthew 24 has two
meanings… not three.
Fact # 10
The Dark Ages cannot be the final
fulfillment Matthew 24
Compare the following verses
carefully…
Matthew 24:21
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the
beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Daniel 12:1
“… and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since
there was a nation even to that same time: …”
Daniel 12 refers
to when probation closes and the 7 last plagues are poured out.
Daniel 12:1
(1)
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a
time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even
to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
The seven last
plagues will be the GREAT TIME OF TROUBLE, greater than any
previously experienced. Matthew 24:15 refers to the writings of the
Prophet Daniel, and then in verse 21 Jesus makes reference again to
Daniels writings using the very same language found in Daniel 12.
Matthew 24:20-22
(20) But pray
ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath
day:
(21) For
then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
(22) And except
those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but
for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
This is clearly a
reference to the same time of trouble.
They both claim to be the greatest time of trouble the world will
ever experience. Daniel 12 is referring to the time of the 7 Last
Plagues; Matthew 24 is also referring to the time of the end, NOT
the time of the dark ages, or 1260 prophetic years of Daniel 7 and
Revelation 12 & 13.
Please compare
Matthew 24:21 to Daniel 12:1 over and over again until this point
sinks into your mind.
My deepest respect
is offered as I say the following. The dark day of the 18th
century did not cause the actual fulfillment of either Matthew 24 or
Revelation 6. The falling of the stars in 1833 as amazing as that
was did not either? The Lisbon earth quake has been surpassed by the
earthquake that caused the tsunami in India in 2004. That earthquake
actually shifted the earth off its normal North and South Pole
access. The Lisbon earth quake did not do that!
Again please
compare Matthew 24:21 to Daniel 12:1 over and over again until this
point sinks into your mind. The event of the sun moon and stars from
over 150 years ago was a wake up call, but it was not the actual
fulfillment of Matthew 24:29 or the sixth seal. Some Prophecy
students teach that we are living in the time of the middle of the
sixth seal. We need to realize that these events have NOT happened
yet, and that we need to wake up and sound the warning to the world
of the coming judgments.
Matthew 24:29
29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the
sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the
stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken:
It is ONLY after
this “Great Time of Trouble” begins that the event of the sun, moon
and stars Predicted by Christ occurs. Dear heart, the events of the
18th and 19th century serve as merely a shadow
of what is going to happen. We have not seen anything yet!
Fact # 11
Trumpets, Seals and Plagues are
ALL still FUTURE events!!!
“Solemn events
before us are yet to transpire. Trumpet
after trumpet is to be sounded; vial after vial poured out one
after another upon the inhabitants of the earth”.--3SM 426
-
Despite
historic views on the trumpets, THE TRUMPETS ARE STILL YET TO
SOUND!
Just before we
entered it [the time of trouble] we all received the seal of the
living God. Then I saw the four angels cease to hold the four
winds. And I saw famine, pestilence and sword, nation rose against
nation, and the whole world was in confusion.” – 7 BC 968
(1846).
-
This
statement makes it clear that the events described in the time
of the four horsemen (sword, famine, and pestilence) happen
immediately before the 7 last plagues. (Please refer to the END
TIMES CHART attached to this article to see a visual
description).
The calamities
by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war,
are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest
magnitude. The agencies of evil are combining their forces and
consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis.
Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final
movements will be rapid ones.--9T 11 (1909).
The time of
trouble--trouble such as was not since there was a nation [Dan.
12:1]--is right upon us, and we are like the sleeping virgins. We
are to awake and ask the Lord Jesus to place underneath us His
everlasting arms, and carry us through the time of trial before
us.--3MR 305 (1906).
We are on
the very verge of the time of trouble, and perplexities that are
scarcely dreamed of are before us.--9T 43 (1909).
We are
standing on the threshold of the crisis of the ages. In quick
succession the judgments of God will follow one another--fire, and
flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed.--PK 278 (c. 1914).
There are
stormy times before us, but let us not utter one word of unbelief or
discouragement.--ChS 136 (1905).
Fact # 12
Trumpets Sound the FALL of THE
GREAT CITY
Revelation 8:2
(2)
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and
to them were given seven trumpets.
We find the same
three elements paralleled in this next passage. This event in
Revelation is actually typified by this Old Testament story of the
fall of Jericho.
Joshua 6:4-5
(4) And
seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of
rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven
times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
(5) And it
shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's
horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the
people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the
city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every
man straight before him.
When the 7
Trumpets are to sound in our time, it will be accompanied by THE
LOUD CRY, “BABYLON IS FALLEN THAT GREAT CITY.”
Revelation 14:8
(8) And there
followed another angel, saying,
Babylon is
fallen, is fallen, that great city,
because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication.
Revelation 16:19
(19) And the
great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the
nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God,
to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Revelation
18:1-6
(1) And after
these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having
great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
(2) And he
cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
Babylon the
great is fallen, is fallen,
and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul
spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
(3) For all
nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and
the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the
merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her
delicacies.
(4) And I heard
another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of
her plagues.
(5) For her
sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her
iniquities.
(6) Reward her
even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double
according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill
to her double.
Fact # 13
The Trumpets are the 7 FIRST
PLAGUES!
Revelation 9:20
20 And the
rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet
repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not
worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone,
and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
The trumpets are
plagues! They are NOT the 7 last plagues. Why? Look at the chart
under Fact # 15. The trumpets and the plagues affect the same
localities, this much is true. However, the trumpets are all
judgments that are measured out into 1/3 judgments. The Seven Last
plagues are just that, they are the 7 LAST plagues, which imply that
there are plagues that come before them. And they are given WITH OUT
MEASURE.
Revelation 14:10
10 The same
shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of
the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation 15:1
1 And I saw
another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having
the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the
wrath of God.
Fact # 14
Those who receive the Mark of
the Beast who refuse to come out of Babylon receive a DOUBLE
PUNISHMENT.
Revelation 18:6
(6) Reward her
even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double
according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill
to her double.
Revelation
6:15-17
(15) And the
kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the
chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every
free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the
mountains;
(16) And said
to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of
him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
(17) For the
great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Jeremiah
16:16-18
(16) Behold, I
will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish
them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt
them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes
of the rocks.
(17) For mine
eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face,
neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
(18) And first
I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because
they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with
the carcasses of their detestable and abominable things.
Jeremiah
17:16-18
(16) As for me,
I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee:
neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came
out of my lips was right before thee.
(17) Be not a
terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil.
(18) Let them
be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let
them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the
day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Fact # 16
Trumpets Announce Final
Judgment
Revelation 8:3-5
(3) And another
angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with
the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the
throne.
(4) And the
smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of
the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
Leviticus
16:12-13
(12) And he
shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar
before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small,
and bring it within the veil:
(13) And he
shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud
of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the
testimony, that he die not:
Isaiah 6:5-11
(5) Then said
I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of
unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
(6) Then flew
one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand,
which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
(7) And he
laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy
lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
(8) Also I
heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will
go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
(9) And he
said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not;
and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
(10) Make the
heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their
eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and
understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
(11) Then said
I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted
without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be
utterly desolate,
The above verse
is a scene depicting the end of the world, the Day of Atonement, or
cleansing of the Sanctuary. It shows the cleansing of sin, the seal
of God by the coal touching the tongue. James said if you can tame
your tongue you would be perfect. This verse mentions the
abomination or at least the desolation caused by it, which is
written in the book of Daniel and referred to by Christ in Matthew
24:15.
Fact # 17
Demons will personate the dead
during the time of the fifth trumpet
"He (Satan) has power to bring before men the appearance of their
departed friend’s. The counterfeit is perfect; the familiar look,
the words, the tone, are reproduced with marvelous distinctness."
"The spirits of devils personating beloved relatives or friends and
declaring the most dangerous heresies will confront many. These
visitants will appeal to our tenderest sympathies and will work
miracles to sustain their pretensions. We must be prepared to
withstand them with the Bible Truth that the dead know not anything
and that they who thus appear are the spirits of devils.” - The
Great Controversy pp. 552,560.
Luke 10:18-20
18 And he said
unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I
give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means
hurt you.
20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject
unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in
heaven.
Notice the same
language found in the time of the fifth trumpet.
Revelation
9:1-11
1 And the fifth
angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth:
and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he
opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit,
as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were
darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there
came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was
given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was
commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth,
neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men
which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them
it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be
tormented five months: and their torment was the torment
of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those
days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire
to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 And the
shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto
battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold,
and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they
had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the
teeth of lions.
9 And they had
breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of
their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses
running to battle.
10 And they
had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their
tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 And they had
a king over them, which is the angel of the
bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is
Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
Here are the keys to
understanding the symbolism of this prophecy
-
A star in
Bible Prophecy represents an angel (Revelation 1:20)
-
This angel who
fell from heaven is Satan
( Luke 10:18)
·
His
name “in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek
tongue hath his name Apollyon” which are names for Satan.
-
The
“Bottomless Pit” represents death.
(Romans 10:7; note – when you read this verse, remember that the
word “deep” is the same word here translated as “bottomless
pit.”
-
These are
symbolic locusts,
not literal locusts
1.
The locusts here have a king over them – (Revelation 9: 11)
2.
Literal locusts do not have a king over them (Proverbs 30:27)
·
These locusts that come up from the bottomless pit are demons
1.
The language of Luke 10:18-20 and that of the fifth trumpet
are identical. The serpent’s scorpions and locusts in these two
passages represent demons.
2.
Thus we have demons coming up from the dead, or personating
those who are now dead. They will appear like men who are now dead,
“their faces were as the faces of men.” (Verse 7).
3.
They will personate the dead saints, “they had hair as the
hair of women,”- (Verse 8), women in prophetic settings represent
the church – (Jeremiah 4:6).
4.
Demons will personate our dead loved ones, they will be teaching the
false doctrines of the fallen churches.
“Teeth were as the teeth of lions” –verse 8. Lions
represent both the devil and Babylon. 1 Peter 5:8; Daniel 7:4.
“There is a strong inclination among Catholics who feel constrained
to admit the genuineness of spirit-messages to assert that these are
produced by the agency of the devil; that the message does not come
from any departed friend, but from an evil spirit personating him.
We know that Satan is capable of transforming himself into “an angel
of light,” and he is presumably capable of transforming himself into
the likeness of my Uncle John, of mimicking his voice and of
reproducing his handwriting. If it be objected that the message
contains high and lofty and even Christian sentiments, it may be
replied that the evil spirit is deliberately adopting this role in
order to deceive us and lead us on so as to ruin our souls.” -
Donald Hole, Spiritualism and the Church 1929, pp. 65-67.
“The
Catholic Church would not forbid her children to have anything at
all to do with this insidious form of necromancy unless she was
satisfied that harm only and no good comes out of it. Her experience
of Spiritualism covers nearly two thousand years, and she seems to
regard it, not as a means of getting into communion with saints, but
as a snare trapping you into communion with devils…” Bernard
Vaughan, Foreword, in Elliot O’Donnell, The Menace of
Spiritualism (London: T. Werner Laurie, [1920]), pp. 1-3
Fact # 18
Trumpets Announce the Close of
Probation on the Church
(ALL CHURCHES including SDA)
Revelation 8:5-6
(5) And the
angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and
cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and
thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
(6) And the
seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves
to sound.
The incense
represents the righteousness of Christ. It ascends with the prayers
of those in the church (All Churches). This medium which makes our
prayers acceptable to the God of Heaven is cast to the earth. In
other words the prayers of the church members who break God’s Laws
and receive the Mark of the Beast are no longer accepted or
answered.
Proverbs 28:9
(9) He that
turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall
be abomination.
Psalms 66:18
(18)
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear
me:
Fact # 19
Those who obey God will not be
hurt by the plagues
Only those who
receive the seal of God, by remaining loyal to all of God’s
commandments including 7th day Sabbath observance will be
safe during this time.
(Revelation
6:6) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A
measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a
penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
(Revelation
7:3) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees,
till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
(Revelation
9:4) And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass
of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only
those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
There shall no
evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy
dwelling. Psalms 91:10
During the final
night in Egypt, the Hebrew’s were preserved from the most horrible
of plagues. In fact not one plague affected the land of Goshen where
the Hebrews lived (Exodus 8:22; 9:26; 12:27). In the same way those
who are faithful to God’s commandments will be protected from the
plagues of both the second and the third cup.
However during the
time of the four winds there will be serious persecution. There
will be a death decree placed upon the Sabbath keepers. It will be
believed by the world that these small numbers of people are the
cause of all of earth’s woes. In an effort to please God, these men
will put to death millions of Sabbath keepers. Only 144,000 will
survive the death decree to live through the 7 last plagues.
But he that
received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and
understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth
forth, some a hundredfold some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:23
Only those who
have the Seal of God, who bear fruit one hundredfold will live
through the seven last plagues.
Fact # 20
Probation has not closed on the
world until the end of the sixth trumpet
And the sixth
angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the
golden altar which is before God, Revelation 9:13
This is the voice
of the High Priest. Probation has not closed yet. Michael has not
yet stood up. The Altar of Incense was taken into the Holy of Holies
one day of the year; The Day of Atonement. On that day the High
Priest would minister in the Holy of Holies on behalf of Israel. The
Voice that is heard is from the One whose name is the Word of God.
It is Jesus Christ. He has not completed the cleansing of the
sanctuary at this point.
Fact # 21
Probation closes on the world
before the Seven Last Plagues are poured out.
Exodus 40:34-35
34 Then a cloud
covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD
filled the tabernacle.
35 And Moses
was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because
the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the
tabernacle.
Moses is a type
of Christ. Once the glory of God filled the temple He could not
enter the temple. In our day, when the glory of God fills the
temple, Christ our High Priest will stand up, He will no longer be
able to act as our mediator. The Angel will say, “He that is unjust,
let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy
still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he
that is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11
Before the Olympic
Games begin marathon runners carry the torch a certain distance,
then pass it on to the next runner until it finally arrives at its
destination. In the same way, the FOUR ANGELS have done their work,
and it is time to pass on the torch to the destroying Angels, who
hold the 7 last plagues.
Revelation
15:7-8
7 And one of
the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials
full of the wrath of God, who liveth forever and ever.
8 And the
temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his
power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the
seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Once the Mark or
Seal of God is placed on the foreheads in Ezekiel 9 the destroying
angels begin to do their work. There are 6 of them, because there
are 6 plagues which precede the Second Coming. The Man in Linen or
the 7 man of Ezekiel 9 & 10 is Christ, Christ himself pours out the
seventh plague into the air by His Second Coming. The Four Angels
described in Ezekiel 1 are again mentioned in Ezekiel 10, just as
they are re-introduced in Revelation 15 just before the Plagues.
Ezekiel 10:3-5
3 Now the
cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the
man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 Then
the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and
stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was
filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of
the LORD's glory.
5 And the sound
of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as
the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
Fact #22
All who receive the Mark of
the Beast experience the Lake of Fire TWICE?
The Lake of Fire before the
Millennium
A 19th
century author, James White first recognized that there were in fact
two lakes of fire (See SDA Bible Commentary verse comments for
Revelation 19:20).
This is
the climax of punishment known as the DOUBLE CUP that the wicked
experience.
2 Thessalonians
2:8
8 And then
shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the
spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming:
2 Peter 3:10
10 But
the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in
the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works
that are therein shall be burned up.
Revelation
14:9-11
9 And the third
angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship
the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his
forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same
shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out
without mixture into the cup of his indignation (7 LAST PLAGUES);
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb (Second Coming):
11 And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have
no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and
whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 19:20
